Additional Information

  • Only service animals are allowed at the fields—please remind friends, family, and guests.

  • Be sure to bring plenty of water for your child, as there is no access to water onsite.

  • Port-a-lets will be available, and we recommend bringing a lawn chair for your comfort during games and practices.

  • Game schedules and uniforms will be distributed by the second week of practice.

  • Picture Day

Scheduled for April 18th, Picture Day will be a busy one with unique game times. Photos will be taken at the fields, so please arrive 5–10 minutes early. If a participant cannot attend, let us know to avoid delays. Photos are free and will be uploaded to TeamSnap when they are ready.

  • Rain Outs

We follow Forsyth County’s lead on cancellations—if they cancel, we cancel. Please don’t email about weather early in the day; decisions are typically made by 3–4 PM, depending on conditions. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as weather can be unpredictable.

  • Game day operation

Before each game, all soccer and flag football teams will gather at the run-through area for announcements, prayer, and devotions. Teams will be called out in order from youngest to oldest, creating a welcoming and organized start to game day.

  • Games

The first game day is March 14th, with full schedules ready by the second week of practice. Changes MAY still occur. Players should arrive at least 10 minutes before game time.

  • “Out” Periods

Players on break should remain on the sidelines to support their team and stay focused.

They should avoid wandering the fields to ensure they’re ready to rejoin the game when needed.

  • Safe Sanctuary Policy

Adults may not be alone with a child that is not their own—no exceptions. Couples count as one adult. All coaches have passed background checks through Trak1 to ensure a safe environment.

  • Coaching Information

CFUMC Sports is proudly run by dedicated parent volunteer coaches who give their time and talents to support our athletes. These volunteers create a positive, encouraging environment focused on teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship, helping make CFUMC Sports a meaningful experience for every child.
