Backpacks of Love

Imagine leaving school on Friday and not having another meal until you return on Monday. Sadly, this is the reality for many children in our community. Backpacks of Love provides essential "weekend" meals for children and their families in Forsyth County Schools, ensuring they have access to food outside of school hours. Serving students from elementary through high school, this ministry seeks to make a difference one meal at a time.

The IMPACT Ministry (4th & 5th Graders) packs the Backpacks of Love on Sunday nights during IMPACT from 5:00–7:00 PM. When the children do not pack, our adult team assembles the backpacks on Thursday mornings.

If you would like to volunteer, please email Barbara Ledbetter, and we’ll provide the packing dates and times.
