Cumming First UMC is part of the interfaith community of twelve Forsyth County churches that serves homeless children and their families through Family Promise. The Family Promise program is a 30-90 day plan that empowers and assists families who are experiencing homelessness with the goal of helping them to gain sustainable independence. Our church hosts families four times each year,  at one week intervals. Training classes for volunteers are provided at the church prior to each host week.
